P.D.Q. Bach - The Jekyll & Hyde Tour
The
Armadillos premiered the "Moose" Quartet at Carnegie
Hall in December 1999; they gave the West Coast premiere at
the Cerritos Performing Arts Center in May 2005; the Los Angeles
premiere at UCLA in July 2005; the Upper West Side of Manhattan
premiere in December 2005; the Pasadena/Area Code 626 premiere
in June 2007. Now comes the Mid-Atlantic premiere in June 2007
and the recorded premiere released in November 2007. Along with
performances by Schickele, Michèle Eaton and David Düsing
of vocal works of P.D.Q. Bach, such as the "Four Next-To-Last
Songs", and of Peter Schickele, including "Listen
Here, Tyrannosaurus Rex", the Armadillo Quartet performs
P.D.Q. Bach's String Quartet in f major, S. Y2K, "The Moose"
