Hear ye! Hear ye!
The Armadillos are on disk again!

It’s 22 years since their last performance on disk, the Youkali Tango on the Kurt Weill tribute album on A & M, “Lost In the Stars”. They now appear with Peter Schickele and other friends in the World Premiere recording of the P.D.Q. Bach String Quartet in F, “The Moose”. Ironically, and unfortunately, Steve had to miss this recording because of his triple bypass surgery less than two weeks before the performance/live recording (he is doing very well now); he had to miss the Youkali recording when he was performing on tour around the world with Helmut Rilling during the J.S. Bach 300th birthday year. Connie Kupka was his very able and willing understudy and substitute.
As announced on the Telarc web site about this recording:

After a Twelve-Year Hiatus, The Master of Mayhem is back with
P.D.Q.Bach: The Jekyll and Hyde Tour
First Live Recording on Telarc

The official release date was November 13, 2007; to purchase please go to our Discography page for a link to the CD at Amazon.com; for more details see Telarc’s web page announcing this release:
